I created this light and airy baby blanket, and it seems to crochet up pretty quick. It is for personal use only, and it took a while to figure it out, so please respect that. Do not sell the pattern or the final product. Thanks!
I used size J hook and sport baby yarn. *Note: Ch 3 counts as 1st DC*
Ch 113
R1: DC in 4th ch from hook. DC in next 10 ch. Ch 1, *DC, ch 1, DC, ch 1, DC, ch 1, DC, ch 1, 11 more DC*. Repeat from * to * until you reach the end of the row. Turn.
R2: Ch 3 and DC in next 10 st. Repeat from * to * until you reach the end of the row.
Repeat R2 until you are satisfied with the length. The width of the blanket is about 42".
Pretty blanket :) Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so light and airy. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis pattern is wonderful, I'm already working on a second blanket, these are perfect for babies in our monsoon heat, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for sharing this pattern. I have just completed my cotton baby blanket and am very pleased with the result.
ReplyDeleteThat's great!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't say how much yarn is needed...
ReplyDeleteHow much yarn is needed?
ReplyDeleteSorry, a lot of times I will use what I have on hand. For this, depending on the size, I think 1-2 skeins.
ReplyDeleteonly two skeins to make that blanket????????
ReplyDeletePretty sure....the stripes take up less yarn. Which in turn allow more yarn to continue the blanket.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely pattern! Just wondering (since my brain isnt great with maths) if I wanted to increase the size of the blanket, by how many chains would I increase?
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've looked at this pattern. I'm thinking if you increase by 20, it may work. Let me know how it works out!
